Olympic Bronze medal winning, at weight with correctors, Lindsay (one of the late Mark Lindsay’s last) Flying Dutchman.
Immaculate shape. $5K unblemished/unused deck. Perfect bottom. Prepared for this year’s World Championship in Florida. Didn’t make the trip. Located in the SF bay area.
1988 Glass Kevlar Flying Dutchman, VERY STIFF. Sailed once per year since 1992 (Olympics). Certified, measured, with Olympic and World decals.
Carries corrector weights (it’s light). No water ingress = ever. All adjusters are controlled to the helm from under the (carbon) main traveler.
$5K on deck refinish (11.20.22) = it’s perfect. Cockpit sole repainted 2022. All new take up (bungee) chords + lines, 2 rigged Forte carbon masts, 2 rigged carbon booms, 2 rudders, 3 carbon spinnaker poles, 4 centerboards, lots of new rigging (unused), 6 complete sets of North sails (used in a couple of regattas each), Harbeck trailer/dolly/spare tire, lots of covers (some unused/NIB), lots of rigging (solid rod shrouds, 4 spectra, Dyform, and regular wire), many many spare parts not listed. We expected it to be a competitive boat at the worlds. Expected to be attending the 2023 USA or 2024 World Championships in Florida. Life proved otherwise.
