1988 Flying Dutchman Lindsay
Olympic Bronze medal winning, at weight with correctors, Lindsay (one of the late Mark Lindsay’s last) Flying Dutchman.
Immaculate shape. $5K unblemished/unused deck. Perfect bottom. Prepared for this year’s World Championship in Florida. Didn’t make the trip. Located in the SF bay area.
1988 Glass Kevlar Flying Dutchman, VERY STIFF. Sailed once per year since 1992 (Olympics). Certified, measured, with Olympic and World decals.
Carries corrector weights (it’s light). No water ingress = ever. All adjusters are controlled to the helm from under the (carbon) main traveler.
$5K on deck refinish (11.20.22) = it’s perfect. Cockpit sole repainted 2022. All new take up (bungee) chords + lines, 2 rigged Forte carbon masts, 2 rigged carbon booms, 2 rudders, 3 carbon spinnaker poles, 4 centerboards, lots of new rigging (unused), 6 complete sets of North sails (used in a couple of regattas each), Harbeck trailer/dolly/spare tire, lots of covers (some unused/NIB), lots of rigging (solid rod shrouds, 4 spectra, Dyform, and regular wire), many many spare parts not listed. We expected it to be a competitive boat at the worlds. Expected to be attending the 2023 USA or 2024 World Championships in Florida. Life proved otherwise. Can be viewed in Florida or on the west coast.

1997 Mader
I am selling one of my Flying Dutchman. It is a 1997 Mader Flying Dutchman. The hull is made of kevlar with carbon reinforcement. It comes with a Harbeck trailer, Selden Carbon mast and boom, twin Forte carbon spinnaker poles, practice BM main, practice DAN X3 genoa, and practice North spinnaker. The CB and rudder are made by Mader. The skipper and crew both have hiking straps. The skipper has seat pads. The FD is rigged using a split bridle traveler. The jib cars cars adjust adjust up and down, and in and out. The paddles are made of carbon.
70’s Plastrend
Restored 1972 Wood Bob Hoare FD
1972 vintage Bob Hoare cold-molded wood FD, professionally restored, excellent condition. Epoxy painted hull, very fair. Varnished mahogany deck with double hull forward, transom flaps aft, spinnaker well. Proctor spars, sails very good to excellent condition: main, 2 genoas, spinnaker, plus older suit as back-up. Custom ultra rigid stainless rudderhead, new ash tiller. Trailer with full boat cover. $4,200.00, current location Northern Wisconsin.
